I am an Aeronautical Engineer based in Riga, Latvia, combining hands-on aviation experience with a growing specialisation in Data Analytics. My goal is to work in the aviation industry β ideally at an airline β where I can use data to solve real operational and engineering problems.
With background experience at SmartLynx Airlines and AMAC Aerospace in MRO operations, maintenance planning, and avionics administration, I bring domain knowledge that most data analysts simply don't have. I know what an Airworthiness Directive is. I've worked with AMOS and OASES. I understand what the data means β not just how to query it.
I am currently completing my MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Aviation Transport) at Riga Technical University.
My master's thesis: "Evaluation of Classical Fault Detection Methods for Aircraft Air Data Sensors Using Simulated Flight Data" β applying statistical signal processing and Python-based data pipelines to sensor anomaly detection.
