Not a grammar checker. Not a writing AI. A close reader with memory.
It opens your manuscript and reads it the way an attentive editor would. Pacing, voice, rhythm, repetition, tension. Then it leaves marks. Not errors. Things worth a second look.
You teach it what you meant. The next chapter gets read with what you just taught it.
Notice. Teach. Continue.
1. It reads before it speaks. Marks appear as you scroll. Findings, not edits.
2. You teach it what you meant. Dismiss a mark, explain intent, or save the pattern to your dictionary.
3. The next pass is quieter. What you've handled stops crowding the page. What's left is what's still worth looking at.

Import TXT, Markdown, or DOCX. Export a revised manuscript with native Word comments your editor can answer inline. Send the file back and their replies land beside your own marks. |
Scene cards. Tension arc. A POV drift flag with the paragraph that broke character. An editorial letter whose claims point at the sentences it means. |
Quick-fix streams in as editable text. Apply and the page doesn't jump. Undo three deep. What you taught in Chapter 1 is still being used in Chapter 30. |
- Novelists on a second or third draft
- Short story writers cleaning up before they submit
- Indie authors who want sharper notes between passes
- Writers who finished the draft and need help picking what to fix
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Hosted AI, no key required. 3 chapter scans. 20 AI reads. 10 quick-fix rewrites. As many manuscripts as you want. |
| Pro | $20/mo | Stronger AI for deeper reads. 100 chapter scans/mo. 5 full-manuscript scans/mo. 250 combined actions/mo. Fair-use throttling, no hard paywall. |
| BYOK | Free, any plan | Bring your own API key. Multiple model options. Key stays in your browser. Doesn't touch hosted limits. Your provider bills you. |
Your draft, your marks, and your dictionary live in your browser. Not on a server.
Nothing you write here trains a model. Nothing is stored or reused after the request. Hosted plans run on paid commercial API tiers. BYOK bills go straight to your provider.
What stage is this for?
Finished drafts. Revision, not brainstorming.
How does it learn?
Through the dictionary. Dismissals and intent notes save locally and carry into the next read.
Does it work with multi-chapter novels?
Yes. The dictionary and revision memory stick with the whole manuscript.
What happens when I hit a limit?
The app tells you which limit you've reached and stops that action type. Free limits are per-account, shared across all your manuscripts. Pro resets monthly. Switch to BYOK to keep working while hosted limits refill.
What if I cancel Pro mid-month?
Pro stays active to the end of the billing period, then drops to free. Your manuscripts, marks, dictionary, and revision history stay in your browser regardless of tier.
Is this safe for unpublished work?
Your manuscript lives on your device. When you request an action, the relevant text goes through our proxy to the provider you picked and back. Nothing else.
