What article on docs.github.com is affected?

What changes are you suggesting?

I have a real-world situation involving a regulatory hold (PND) and account reactivation that is not clearly addressed by the documentation. I can provide a redacted summary and a sample bank notification showing the wording about regulatory holds and account reactivation. Please advise whether this page should be updated to clarify:

  • How open source applications should handle requests related to regulatory holds on user accounts,
  • Guidance for developers about required disclosures or documentation when an account is under regulatory hold,
  • Whether the current wording is sufficient or would benefit from examples or a FAQ section.

OCR of sample notification (all personal data redacted):

[Redacted: Account number] — restriction lifted — regulatory review by Central Bank of Nigeria
"We are pleased to inform you that the restriction previously placed on your account has been successfully lifted. Following a regulatory review, your account has been fully restored. You may now resume all normal banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, without any limitations."

(I will not share unredacted personal/banking details on a public issue. Redacted samples can be provided if helpful.)
